Learn Unknown Financing Strategies for Physicians
If you’ve found your way to Utah Physician Home Loans you’re probably about to make one of the biggest financial and family decisions of your life thus far. I understand you already have an incredibly full schedule and my goal is to make this transition as smooth and stress free as possible for you.
I’ve had the good fortune of working with a lot of relocating MDs and DDSs over the last 10 years of my mortgage career and during that time, I’ve learned a few things about financing Medical Professionals. First of all, they have unique financial and contractual situations that require specialized mortgage underwriting and understanding of their unique situations. I’ve found that not all Underwriters look at this the same and what might be permitted with one bank is not allowed with another. I’ve spent the last few years putting together the most comprehensive list of Physician home loan products in Utah to cater to the specific mortgage needs of MDs and DDSs.

Where Do Physicians Want to Live in Salt Lake City, Utah?
This article is written by our friends at the Utah Cribs Team.
When advising the many doctors from other states that come and work and live in our beautiful state of Utah, there are three large hospitals I get a lot questions about:
1. Huntsman Cancer Institute
2. The University of Utah
3. Intermountain Medical Center
These hospitals along with the many other Select Health (IHC) hospitals are the main pull for many doctors moving into the State.
I have had many clients moving here ask me, “Where should I live if I am a physician? Where do other doctors live in the area?” The first question I always ask them is, “Which hospital will you be working at?”

The Emigration Canyon Neighborhood
This article is written by our friends at the Utah Cribs Team.
Emigration Canyon is a unique neighborhood in Salt Lake City, Utah that offers a lifestyle that can’t be matched. What makes it unique is its proximity to city living and to the University of Utah and its medical centers. The residential neighborhoods in the canyon are mountain living at its best; views, rivers, streams, bike rides and hiking trails out your front door, yet you can be at the hospital and medical centers in 10 minutes. Most of the residential property is owned by business owners, doctors/physicians, attorneys and architects.
The canyon its self is mainly home to 2 HOA communities; Emigration Oaks (on the north side of the canyon) and Emigration Place (on the south side of the canyon). To be specific from the lower entrances of these communities it’s a 4.9 miles drive to the mouth of the canyon. From there the University of Utah is only about 1 mile however since the Huntsman Cancer Institute is at the far north east end of campus it’s an additional 4.8 mile drive from the mouth of the canyon.
